At least through April, we expect to be worshiping only online. Each Sunday morning at 9:30, tune in at the church’s facebook page to watch a live stream of the service, with music, prayers, scripture, and sermon. After the service is done, we will find other platforms on which we can share the video. Here is a link to the church’s YouTube Page. You do not need to have a Facebook account to watch the service.
Also, each morning, Pastor Marci is doing a video meditation at 7:30 am on Facebook Live, before going into a time of centering prayer. Those videos are also available later in the day.
Whenever the CDC gives us clearance to worship again, in person and together, we will celebrate Easter then too. Until then, we’ll be community for each other in new ways.
Please join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. One week a month, we take Sunday as a day of sabbath rest and have worship at 5 pm on Saturday night. That is the second Saturday of each month.
The rest of the month, our worship is traditional in all of the right ways. We have an excellent chancel choir and handbell choir, and have traditional Presbyterian liturgy, grounded in Scripture and in the Reformed Tradition. Our worship is also likely to include references to current events, contemporary music, and other ways to connect our faith to our life. Come to be challenged and equipped to serve God in the world.
Check out the “Recent Sermons” box at bottom of main page to find audio files of sermons. You can read sermons and find sermon videos at the Pastor’s blog, Glass Overflowing. Search for us on iTunes podcasts as Southminster Boise.
We have aids for people with hearing assistance. The sanctuary is wheelchair accessible. There are paid and trained workers in the nursery for infants and toddlers, although children are welcome to remain in worship.
Some people dress up for worship and others come in casual attire. So come as you are. You will be welcomed.
